On the other hand, urban areas are identified with modernity—walls of cement and concrete. However, that doesn’t mean that those of you who live in cities cannot make wooden houses. You can either build a wooden house or apply wooden interior that are simple, chic, and modern.

Today, we will show you a simple but modern wooden house designed by Dwarf for all of you who live in both urban and rural area.

Simple Facade
This house facade is simple, functional, clean, and tidy. The carport with a high wooden roof is also functioned as a terrace.

Bright Terrace
The white color makes the terrace brighter. The folding door is an interesting idea as a partition which connects this are to the inside of the house. There’s also a simple staircase as an access to the second floor terrace.

Library
The library is very cozy with wooden chairs covered by modern black leather. This masculine room gets natural light from the two windows.

Entrance Area
This entrance includes an attractive wooden walls with a simple rack that extends to place or display antique frame and photographs.

The Warm Living Room
Placing a bright colored sofa combined with monochromatic printed carpet is a contemporary design that makes this living room feel warm and comfortable. The window with vertical wooden details and horizontal blinds instead of curtains adds to simplicity in this room.

Open-Plan Design
From this angle, we can see that the living room is integrated with the dining room and kitchen, a typical urban design for limited space. There’s also a stairs to the second floor. Lighting is an important element in this this room, every light installed is not only functional but also creates a dramatic effect.

This narrow kitchen is very functional. The design is dominated by white furniture, such as counter and kitchen cabinets. It looks more attractive with tiled walls and a black splash in the same motif as the wall.

The dominance of white and light blue colors, together with the large windows, make this kid’s room bright and seem healthy. In a spacious area like this one, it’s very possible for this room to also serve as a playroom.
